Once voted "Sufferfest of the Year" by the Madison newspaper The Isthmus, "The Toughest One-Day Challenge Ride in the Midwest", Horribly Hilly is a 100k, 150k or 200k bike ride through the Driftless region of Wisconsin. Due to growing popularity, registration to Horribly Hilly is decided on an annual lottery system. The day is finished off with high quality local food and beer. This is a "must do" event for any intense bikers in the Wisconsin area.

Find out more »The Ironman triathlon consisting of a 2.4-mile swim, 112-mile bike and 26.2-mile run, which take place through out the world. The Wisconsin Ironman begins with the swim in Lake Monona in downtown Madison. The bike course runs 16 miles out of town and then completes two 40 mile loops in in rural Dane County. The run course will work it's way through downtown Madison, the University of Wisconsin campus, Camp Randal, State Street, and the path alongside lake Mendota.
